Motorsport Commentator, Racer, and F1 Paddock Club Expert Host

Laura Luft’s passion for motorsport began at just 10 years old, watching Formula 1 and countless other racing series on TV. With no family background in racing and very few female role models in the sport at the time, she carved her own path—starting her journey at age 24, after completing her studies.

Determined and self-driven, Laura invested her early savings into karting, eventually competing in prestigious 24-hour karting races across Europe and Dubai. In 2017, she stepped into the world of car racing at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. Her dedication paid off in 2023, when she fulfilled a lifelong dream by finishing 3rd in class at the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring with a BMW M240i. She returned the following year behind the wheel of a BMW M4 GT4, securing 4th in class.

Since 2021, Laura has also worked as an F1 Paddock Club Expert Host at around ten races each season, combining her racing knowledge with her talent for engaging audiences around the world. In 2025, she continues to commentate on both sim and real-world races, moderate motorsport events, and serve as a dynamic presence within the Formula 1 paddock.

Laura remains focused on competing in selected NLS races and preparing for a return to Dubai—this time not just in karting, but in full-fledged endurance car racing. Her personal motto, #passionperdefinition, reflects her commitment to showing young girls that it’s never too late—and never too out of reach—to enter motorsport.
