Mugello, Italy. March 21, 2026
Qualifying for the Michelin 12H Mugello delivered exactly what the BOMBERG stopwatch thrives on: margins measured in tenths.
Maro Engel put GetSpeed Team PCX Racing's No. 28 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO on pole with a blistering 1:44.390, just two tenths clear of Sainteloc Junior Team's No. 18 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II after a three-part qualifying session that swung back and forth. Sainteloc's Elia Erhart had looked the man to beat after Q2, but Engel's composure in the final segment proved decisive.
Proton Competition's Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) Evo secured third, with Ajith RedAnt Racing's Mercedes-AMG fourth and Herberth Motorsport completing the top five. Further back, HAAS RT qualified their No. 21 Audi R8 in tenth, a result that belies the team's race-day potential. In endurance, qualifying sets the grid; strategy writes the story.
With 30 cars set to battle through 12 hours of Tuscan drama and a limited-edition BOMBERG APEX awaiting each class winner the stage is set. When precision is both the measure and the prize, every lap matters.
Race start: Saturday afternoon. Every second, timed by BOMBERG.
