Shipping Policy
Last updated: July 2026
- Scope and acceptance
This Shipping, Delivery and Customs Policy applies to all purchases made through the official BOMBERG online store.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that the delivery information provided is complete and accurate and agrees to the conditions described below, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applicable in the customer’s country.
- Shipping carriers
BOMBERG ships orders using trusted international carriers, primarily UPS and FedEx.
The carrier and service level are selected according to the destination, parcel characteristics, operational requirements and carrier availability.
BOMBERG reserves the right to use an equivalent or faster carrier service when necessary, without prior notice, provided this does not reduce the level of service selected by the customer.
- Shipping costs
The available delivery methods and any applicable charges are displayed during checkout before the order is confirmed.
Free shipping may be offered for certain products, destinations or promotional periods.
Where the customer selects a paid express delivery option, the corresponding shipping charge will be added to the order total.
Paid shipping upgrades are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the order is cancelled before shipment.
- Order verification and processing
Before an order can be shipped, BOMBERG may perform the following checks:
- Payment and credit approval
- Billing and delivery address verification
- Fraud prevention and security controls
- Product availability confirmation
- Customs and export compliance checks
- Verification of the customer’s contact information
Orders are generally prepared within 1 to 3 business days.
Processing may take longer during sales campaigns, product launches, public holidays, inventory controls or periods of exceptionally high order volume.
Orders placed during weekends or public holidays will normally be processed on the next business day.
- Preorders
Certain watches and accessories may be offered for preorder before they are available for immediate shipment.
Any production, availability or shipping date communicated on a product page, order confirmation or customer service message is an estimated date and not a guaranteed delivery date.
Production schedules may change due to:
- Manufacturing requirements
- Quality-control procedures
- Component availability
- Supplier delays
- Logistics or customs restrictions
- Circumstances outside BOMBERG’s reasonable control
BOMBERG will make every reasonable effort to keep the customer informed of any material delay.
- Estimated delivery times
Estimated delivery times begin when the parcel is physically handed over to the carrier, not when the order is placed.
Typical estimated transit times are:
Europe: approximately 2 to 5 business days
International destinations: approximately 3 to 7 business days
Remote locations, islands and extended delivery areas may require additional time.
All delivery dates and time windows displayed by BOMBERG, UPS, FedEx or any other platform are estimates only. They are not guaranteed delivery commitments.
Delivery may be delayed due to customs clearance, incomplete recipient information, carrier disruptions, public holidays, weather conditions, security controls or other circumstances outside BOMBERG’s reasonable control.
- Duties, taxes and customs clearance
Depending on the destination, import duties, VAT, sales taxes, customs-clearance fees or other governmental charges may apply.
Where available, these charges are calculated automatically and collected during checkout.
Amounts collected for duties and taxes are not retained by BOMBERG as profit. They are intended to cover the import duties and taxes payable to the relevant customs and governmental authorities.
Where duties and taxes have been collected during checkout, the customer should normally not be required to pay the same charges again upon delivery.
The carrier or local customs authorities may nevertheless request additional information from the recipient, including:
- Tax identification number
- EORI number
- National identification number
- Passport or identity document
- Proof of private use
- Proof of purchase
- Confirmation of the recipient’s address
- Additional customs-clearance documentation
The customer is responsible for responding promptly and accurately to any customs or carrier request.
Failure to provide the requested information may result in a delay, return, storage or disposal of the parcel.
- Customer delivery information
The customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including:
- Recipient’s full name
- Street name and number
- Apartment, suite, floor or unit number
- Postal code
- City
- Country
- Valid telephone number
- Valid email address
BOMBERG cannot be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.
The customer must review the order confirmation and notify BOMBERG immediately if any information is incorrect.
- Address changes before shipment
Customers wishing to change their delivery address must contact BOMBERG as soon as possible.
An address change can only be accepted if the order has not yet been prepared or handed over to the carrier.
BOMBERG cannot guarantee that a requested address change will be completed once the order has entered the shipping process.
For security and customs reasons, a shipment cannot normally be redirected from one destination country to another after dispatch.
- Customer-requested delivery changes after shipment
Once the parcel has been shipped, the customer may be able to request a delivery change directly through UPS My Choice, FedEx Delivery Manager, the carrier’s website, the carrier’s application or the carrier’s local customer service.
Such changes may include:
- Delivery to another address
- Delivery to a workplace
- Delivery to a neighbor
- Delivery to a concierge or building reception
- Delivery to an approved collection point
- Delivery to a UPS Access Point or FedEx location
- Delivery on another date
- Authorization to leave the parcel in a designated location
- Release of the parcel without a signature, where permitted
Any delivery change requested directly by the customer is made under the customer’s responsibility.
The customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the new address is complete and correct
- Ensuring that the selected location is secure
- Ensuring that the recipient or authorized third party is available
- Monitoring the updated tracking information
- Collecting the parcel within the carrier’s deadline
- Paying any additional carrier fees resulting from the change, where applicable
BOMBERG cannot be held responsible for delays, additional costs, failed delivery, loss or inability to retrieve a parcel resulting from delivery instructions or modifications requested directly by the customer, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
- Delivery to another address
Where the customer requests that the parcel be delivered to an address other than the address originally entered during checkout, the customer accepts responsibility for that alternative address.
This includes delivery to:
- A family member’s address
- A friend’s address
- A workplace
- A hotel
- A temporary residence
- A holiday property
- A business address
- A collection point
- Any other address selected by the customer
The customer must ensure that the recipient at the alternative address is informed and authorized to accept the parcel.
Subject to mandatory applicable law, BOMBERG’s delivery obligation will be considered fulfilled once the carrier confirms delivery to the alternative address and the parcel has been accepted by the customer or a third party designated by the customer.
- Delivery to a concierge, reception or authorized third party
If the customer authorizes another person to receive or sign for the parcel, that person will be considered a third party designated by the customer.
This may include:
- A concierge
- A doorman
- A building manager
- An apartment reception
- A hotel reception
- An office receptionist
- A company mailroom
- A colleague
- A neighbor
- A household member
- A family member
- Any other person authorized by the customer
A signature, acceptance or delivery confirmation provided by such an authorized person will be treated as valid proof of delivery.
Once the parcel has been accepted by a concierge, reception desk or other third party expressly designated or authorized by the customer, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer, subject to mandatory applicable law.
BOMBERG cannot be held responsible for any subsequent loss, theft, misplacement, internal handling issue or failure by the authorized third party to hand the parcel over to the customer.
- Buildings with a central receiving area
Where the customer provides the address of an apartment building, office, hotel, hospital, university campus or other facility that normally uses a central reception, mailroom, concierge or receiving area, the customer acknowledges that the carrier may deliver the parcel to that customary receiving point.
By using such an address, the customer authorizes delivery to the building’s customary receiving service, unless the customer contacts BOMBERG before shipment and requests a more restrictive signature service.
Any restrictive delivery request remains subject to carrier availability and cannot always be guaranteed.
- Release without signature and safe-place delivery
Where permitted by the carrier, the customer may request that a parcel be left without a signature or placed in a specific safe location.
Examples may include:
- At the front door
- On a porch
- In a garage
- Behind a gate
- In a parcel box
- With a neighbor
- In another location selected by the customer
By requesting or authorizing release without signature, the customer accepts responsibility for the security and suitability of the selected location.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BOMBERG cannot be held responsible for theft, disappearance, weather damage or other loss occurring after the carrier confirms that the parcel was left according to the customer’s instructions.
BOMBERG strongly recommends that high-value shipments remain subject to a physical signature.
- Signature requirement
For security reasons, BOMBERG shipments may require a signature upon delivery.
Depending on the destination and selected service, the carrier may require:
- A standard signature
- A direct signature
- An adult signature
- Proof of identity
- A collection code or PIN
- A government-issued photo identification document
The customer must ensure that an eligible person is available to receive and sign for the parcel.
Where the customer authorizes a concierge, receptionist or other third party to sign, that signature will be considered valid confirmation of delivery.
- Delivery to an Access Point or collection location
The customer may request delivery to a UPS Access Point, FedEx location or another carrier-approved collection point, where available.
The customer is responsible for:
- Monitoring the tracking information
- Waiting for confirmation that the parcel is ready for collection
- Checking the location’s opening hours
- Bringing the required identification
- Collecting the parcel before the carrier’s deadline
The carrier may return the parcel to BOMBERG if it is not collected within the permitted storage period.
If the parcel is returned because the customer failed to collect it, BOMBERG may deduct the following costs from any refund, where permitted by applicable law:
- Original shipping charges
- Return transportation charges
- Customs duties and taxes that cannot be recovered
- Carrier storage or administration fees
- Any additional costs resulting from the failed collection
- Tracking information
Once the parcel has been shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation containing the tracking number.
Tracking information may require several hours to become active after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.
The customer is responsible for monitoring the shipment and responding promptly to any request from UPS, FedEx or the customs authorities.
Customers should also check their spam or junk folder if the shipping confirmation is not visible in their inbox.
- Missed delivery attempts
If no eligible person is available to receive the parcel, the carrier may:
- Make another delivery attempt
- Leave a delivery notice
- Contact the recipient
- Hold the parcel at a local facility
- Redirect the parcel to an approved collection point
- Request additional delivery instructions
- Return the parcel to BOMBERG
The customer must follow the carrier’s instructions promptly.
BOMBERG cannot guarantee the number or timing of additional delivery attempts.
- Refused, unclaimed or undeliverable parcels
A parcel may be considered undeliverable if:
- The delivery address is incomplete or incorrect
- The recipient cannot be contacted
- The recipient refuses the parcel
- The customer does not provide customs information
- The parcel is not collected from the designated location
- No authorized person is available to sign
- The customer does not respond to the carrier
- Customs clearance cannot be completed
Where permitted by applicable law, BOMBERG may deduct costs directly related to an undeliverable or refused parcel from the refund, including:
- Original shipping charges
- Return transportation charges
- Customs duties and taxes
- Storage charges
- Carrier administration fees
- Import or export fees that cannot be recovered
Any reshipment may require payment of additional shipping or customs-related costs.
- Transfer of risk
BOMBERG remains responsible for the parcel while it is in transit until the customer or a third party designated by the customer takes physical possession of the goods, subject to mandatory applicable law.
A third party designated by the customer may include a concierge, doorman, receptionist, neighbor, household member, colleague or another person expressly authorized to accept the parcel.
Where the customer independently changes the delivery instructions, authorizes delivery to an alternative location or authorizes release without signature, the allocation of responsibility will be determined according to the customer’s instructions, the carrier’s confirmed proof of delivery and mandatory applicable law.
- Proof of delivery
Carrier records may be used when investigating a delivery dispute.
Proof of delivery may include:
- Recipient signature
- Name of the person who accepted the parcel
- Delivery scan
- Delivery date and time
- GPS information
- Photograph of the delivery location
- Access Point collection confirmation
- Electronic delivery instruction
- Carrier communication records
If tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should first check with:
- Household members
- Neighbors
- Concierge or reception
- Building management
- Mailroom
- Workplace reception
- The designated safe place
- The relevant carrier collection point
The customer should then contact BOMBERG without delay so that an investigation can be opened.
- Lost, delayed or damaged parcels
Customers should inspect the parcel upon delivery whenever possible.
Any visible damage, missing item, tampered packaging or delivery problem should be reported to BOMBERG as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, without limiting any mandatory statutory rights.
The customer should provide:
- Order number
- Tracking number
- Photographs of the external packaging
- Photographs of the shipping label
- Photographs of the internal packaging
- Photographs or videos of the product
- A description of the issue
All packaging must be retained until the investigation has been completed.
BOMBERG will contact the carrier and assist the customer with the investigation.
- Order cancellation
Customers wishing to cancel or amend an order must contact BOMBERG immediately.
Cancellation cannot be guaranteed once the order has entered preparation or has been handed over to the carrier.
If the shipment can no longer be stopped, the customer will need to receive or refuse the parcel and follow the standard return procedure.
Any costs resulting from refusal or unsuccessful delivery may be deducted from the refund where permitted by applicable law.
- Returns and shipping refunds
Customers wishing to return a watch must contact BOMBERG within the applicable return period and follow the return instructions provided by our team.
Returned watches must be:
- New and unworn
- Free from scratches, marks or signs of use
- Complete with the original box and packaging
- Returned with all accessories, straps, documents and protective materials
- Returned with any promotional gift supplied with the order, where applicable
BOMBERG will inspect the returned product before approving the refund.
Any paid express shipping charge selected during checkout is non-refundable, except where required by law or where the return results from an error attributable to BOMBERG.
- Circumstances outside our control
BOMBERG cannot be held responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- War or civil unrest
- Governmental restrictions
- Customs actions
- Carrier service interruptions
- Strikes or industrial action
- Transport network disruptions
- Public-health restrictions
- Security controls
- Incorrect or incomplete customer information
BOMBERG will nevertheless make every reasonable effort to assist the customer and obtain updated information from the carrier.
